Welcome to The Rowley Main Street. Now that you have joined you are probably wondering what to do next! In this blog we’ll cover the basics.
Activities
Within your Main Street you’ll notice a number of activities that you can use engage the community with.
- Answers – Have a question or an answer to a questions? Post it under Answers.
- Blogs – Blogs are conversation starters and posting can only be done by your local businesses and nonprofits. Businesses are not allowed to advertise on localMana. It’s all about sharing knowledge. So you’ll have a knowledge resource available via blogs to learn from!
- Discussions – Anyone can create a topic to carry on a discussion with the community.
- Events – Post an event
- Ideas – Have an idea that you would like feedback on? Post it in Ideas.
- Wiki – Anyone can update a wiki document. You might use it to manage a project.

Stay in the loop! Anytime you see an envelope, click it and it will turn red. That means anytime something happens in the community, you’ll get notified. Don’t worry, you’ll get notified based on your profile communication setting so you won’t get tons of emails a day.
Get Started
if your community is new you might be one of the few in it. You’re a trail blazer!! With your help, the community will grow. Post something and then use the social buttons that you’ll see on most every page. Use them to spread the word as well as the Invite button on the main community page.

localMana and our business and non-profit partners appreciate it when you engage with them and others. So you’ll earn point rewards every time you do something on localMana. Soon you’ll be able to redeem those points for valuable and fun merchandise!
